Cinco de Mayo will be muy caliente!

ROYCEvents Cinco de Mayo weekend lineup is muy caliente!  Los plátanos (that's bananas in Spanish).  We are Hosting Raquel's Sweet 16 party on Saturday.  Go Mt. DeSales! The youth events are "extra" as in special, different, aaaah - teenagers (enough said).  The theme is fun and festive and we will present our signature Mixer kids style.  Games, Prizes and what they consider "music" LOL!  On Sunday, I have the awesome opportunity to Host JD Entertainment's VIP Artist Dinner.  Which means I will entertain (hopefully - prayerfully) Pastor Shirley Caesar, Dottie Peoples, the Canton Spirituals, Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's, Doc Mckenzie and the Hi-Lites! and interview them.  What do you ask a prophet? LOL! I am super excited a little nervous but very grateful for this opportunity.  Last month I interviewed Bishop TD Jakes during his "Let It Go" book tour - humbling to say the least.  I survived that and he seemed engaged in the conversation so ....I Got This (Jennifer Hudson voice).  Gotta go and place names in the lottery to choose concert ticket winners! Are you ROLLING with ROYCE?

And Now I Understand...Interns are a Necessary Luxury!

Baby steps and Phase I of updating my website. Admin of Blazin' 92.3 website and FB is fun and demanding at the same time - playing with pain!. Giving some attention to my ROYCEvents website, FB and new to Twitter.  Tweet Tweetin' up in here! Whether you bear with me, laugh with me, learn with me...
what-so-in-evah you do - roll with me!
Are You ROLLINGwithROYCE?

Music...the universal language

Have you ever noticed how a certain song can evoke emotions of former times? That's the nostalgia of music....those 80's hits (Madonna, Hall & Oats, Kool & the Gang) are certain doses of carefree high school days. The mere mention of Planet Rock makes me want to grab my white roller skates with the purple pom-poms and head to the rink! Marvin Gaye, Kenny Logins, KC & The Sunshine Band tunes were my parents backdrop to Saturday morning housecleaning sessions -those were the days...two snaps, a hand clap & ballroom turn!

I'm Coming Out! (in my Diana Ross voice)

You can call it a comeback! Most of you have fond memories of DJ RollsRoyce, we had years of milestone celebrations during my run as Macon's only mobile female deejay and the O S Club's house DJ. Many of your social functions, reunions, weddings, showers and/or political rallys were a joint success. I have the awesome opportunity (thank you Lord) to reinvent my talents to focus more on my "femcee" (female emcee) skills and sound system experience. I am embarking upon this journey with the faith of knowing all things are possible - the door is open and I am going in! My transition to hosting and sound is a natural extension of my God given talent to coordinate and celebrate with unique style and creativity. So LEGGO! I welcome you to be a FB friend - tell a friend that ROYCEvents & Sound "upgrades your occasion!"    In my opinion, new beginnings are pricesless - what are your thoughts? Is  reinventing yourself or your brand overrated? or is the best thing since sliced bread?  (talk to me)
